Robert Browne Hall / Arr. by Christopher W. Johnson
March "Independentia" was composed in 1895 by Robert Browne Hall (1858-1907), New England's March King, and is his signature composition. R. B. Hall was born in Maine and seldom left the state during his lifetime. He was a prolific composer of primarily marching music, he left us with over 100 compositions in total. Independentia is a typical R. B. Hall composition in the fact that the bass drum and cymbals are given short solos in the work. This updated arrangement features a full score and parts for a more modern concert band. All musical elements are true to the original.
