SICILIAN SUMMER SUNSET, written for guitar quartet, offers great opportunities for the intermediate to advanced guitar player to perform music within an ensemble. The music is written to give performers the chance to play independent melodic lines as well as being one of two, three, or four simultaneous lines. The piece explores both major and minor modes as it paints a picture of a rustic country village.
